Home pregnancy test
In standard or digital formats, these types of tests are possible. In the case of the latter, you can opt for it after 6 days of your missed period. Whereas the standard version, you can use it after 4 days of your missed period. A word of caution though, if you try this test earlier the chances of a negative result are all the more. When it is a false negative it means you are pregnant but the result has something else to point out.
This test needs to be tried as the first thing in the morning as the hormone levels tend to be more concentrated. But in no way, it points to the fact that the result has to be accurate all the time. if you get a negative result to opt for this test if your period has not gone on to start. The presence of a faint line indicates that you are pregnant.
This test is undertaken at the chamber of a doctor. The main objective of this test would be to figure out the levels of HCG. At the same time, it is possible for a blood test to find out HCG much earlier than a urine test. The results of these tests take much longer and work out to be on the expensive side as well.
In this regard, there are a couple of tests that are suggested. With a qualitative HCG test, it does go on to check whether any HCG is produced in the body or not. With a simple yes or no it is possible to figure out whether you are pregnant or not. After 10 days of a missed period, the doctors opt for this test in order to confirm the fact of pregnancy. But in most of the cases, the HCG could be found out much earlier as well.
Now comes the quantitative HCG blood test, and this might prove to be the most accurate of all the available tests. Here you do go on to figure out the specific HCG in blood. At the same time, it does help you to track down any issues that you face during the tenure of pregnancy.
Urine test at the clinic
This is a test that is undertaken at the chamber of a doctor. Though from a commercial point of view it is not that liable, as far as a pharmacy is concerned, it is based on the same principle of HCG detection. Here the only difference with a professional would be that with a professional you can get rid of any errors that might arise. At the same time, this does work out to be an accurate test.
