What the reasons on why parents go on to refuse vitamin K for the new born babies?

A baby was born pale and healthy, but after a few days become unresponsive, limp and could hardly breathe a tinge. It was found out that the baby was suffering from bleeding in the brain. As per medical experts, if such damage occurs, the symptoms of it could spread lifelong. One of the reasons given for and a situation was parents refusing vitamin K for newborn. This would have gone on to prevent that bleeding on all counts.

At a personal level, it would be really difficult to take care of a baby that is sick. What might really surprise you is that such a disorder could have been preventable in the first case. This would force you up and take notice. Now the question that pops out is should my newborn get a vitamin K shot at the time of birth? In standard medical terminology as soon as the baby is born you have to provide them with a vitamin K shot. It would help to prevent the blood clot and prevents dangerous bleeds as well.  The sad aspect is that a few parents are going to decline the shots for their babies and what more the numbers are on the definite rise. This does present itself to be a situation all over the world.

The doctors are not known to track down the vitamin K refusals. But recent reports that have emerged from the hospitals do point out that clusters of bleeding disorders have arisen in children.t the main reason would be a refusal on the part of parents to provide vitamin K for their babies. One thing for sure this has gone on to send shock waves among the medical circles.

Now the essence of the question is what would be thinking on the part of parents? Why they are going to risk a form of treatment that has been in operation for close to 50 years and does go on to pose a risk to a developing baby? Of an interview that is conducted among a host of families, some interesting results did go on to emerge. For some, it was a case of religious belief, whereas in the case of others natural was better. If it is the latter approach it would be a lot proactive in a lot of ways.

There are some parents who do not want their babies to feel the pain in terms of a shot. There are others who believe in what does lie in a shot and the old age of thought of linking vitamin K to blood cancer is refuted.

In case if you search on the internet the first link would take you to the dark side of vitamin K shot. It might favour the oral option, even though this is not an alternate for the oral option in any way. A lot of things are on the internet which is true to believe.
